Order Placement

Orders are accepted via telephone at (518) 877-8280 or toll free (866) 518-4438 via fax at (518) 877-8273 or through our secure web site www.expressionsofgratitude.com.

Product Substitution

Substitutions are occasionally necessary due to issues of supply and demand. We guarantee that substitutions will be accomplished without sacrificing quality and only items of equal or greater value will be utilized. Please note that gifts shipping from or to warm weather climates will have their chocolate items substituted with treats that will not melt during shipment.

Gift Card

A gift card which includes your personal message is included with every gift at no charge.

Local Delivery

Expressions of Gratitude offers local hand delivery service within Albany New York’s Capital Region for some items. The charge for local delivery is $9.95 per location. Additional local delivery fees may be incurred when provision of off hour, out-of-area, multiple unit, weekend or holiday delivery services are requested by the purchaser. At our discretion due to rising fuel costs or circumstances outside of our control as well as our commitment to meet your arrival date expectations, local delivery may be accomplished via UPS.

Shipping Services

United Parcel Service (UPS) is our preferred, out-of-area shipping provider. All gifts are shipped via UPS standard Ground Service unless otherwise requested. All requests for expedited or upgraded service must be made via telephone. Ground Service shipping rates are based upon package size and weight. As a point of reference, the majority of our gifts ship UPS ground at a rate of $11.95. Feel free to contact us at our local number 877-8280 or via our toll free number 866 518-4438 for specific shipping cost information related to your order. Purchasers agree to accept responsibility for provision of complete and accurate delivery address information and to pay for any costs incurred as a result of incorrect delivery information. Complete information is defined as recipient's full name, street number, street name (PO Boxes cannot be accepted), city, state and zip code. Although not required, provision of the recipient's telephone number is recommended.

Expressions of Gratitude will make every effort to ship packages on a schedule that allows for timely receipt. Expressions of Gratitude cannot, however, guarantee or be held responsible for shipping delays which result from processing issues on the part of UPS or other circumstances outside of its direct control. Please be aware that gifts shipping to warm weather destinations will have their chocolate items replaced with items that will not melt during transit.

Payment

We accept cash checks, Visa, MasterCard & American Express. Returned checks will incur a $25 fee. A 50% deposit is required on all orders exceeding 10 designs or $200 whichever is greater. Balance is due prior to delivery. A deposit is also required for any order in which the giver requests inclusion of specialty items whose individual value exceeds $10.

Corporate Accounts

Corporate accounts will be established upon receipt & review of a completed credit application. All new accounts must be guaranteed with an active credit card. If payment is received in accordance with established terms, the credit card on file will not be charged. In the event timely payment is not received, charges will be processed against the credit card.

Order Cancellation

Order cancellations can only be accepted prior to delivery or shipment and are subject to a 20% processing fee. Cancellation of special or volume orders in excess of 10 designs will result in forfeiture of order deposit.
